Milwaukee Montessori Discrimination

Milwaukee Montessori School (MMS) in Milwaukee, WI has received numerous complaints about discriminating against students with disabilities. MMS was sanctioned by the United States Department of Justice (DOJ) in 2014 for disability discrimination and is CURRENTLY being investigated by the DOJ for similar offenses. Additionally, MMS is CURRENTLY in federal litigation with a family for discriminating against their child. The Board Chair, Kate Lewis and Head of School, Monica Van Aken have "led" the school through all of this. Here are some personal accounts of discrimination experienced by students with disabilities at MMS. This discrimination is a pattern and needs to be stopped.
